There are two fundamental challenges that EPIC aims to address: Firstly that any Consultancy or Training delivered should have a measurable Return on Investment (ROI) and secondly that it should be Application Specific.

Return on Investment (ROI)

The payback on any work has to be clear in everyone’s minds. The Industry has sharpened considerably over the last two years and a healthy challenge in terms of expenditure has improved the performance of most organisations. Consultancy Expertise is still required, pre-inspection audits are still required. However, as well as looking at compliance issues, any audit is an opportunity to identify process improvement opportunities. We approach all audits in this way. Any package of work should have clearly defined goals in terms of ROI.

Application of Knowledge

Information is a click away on any subject. Internet downloads, webimars on line ‘training’ etc. In many areas there is information overload, and contradiction. Intelligent Application of this readily available information is where EPIC can help. Consultancy will provide a site and product specific solution, not a generic solution. Similarly with Training; Generic training packages are like internet downloads. For training to be valuable, it has to be focused on a ROI and also has to be site and application specific. Not only does this deliver a ROI but will improve the training experience as application and product specific training is much more engaging for all concerned.
